Over the years, I’ve amassed a large collection of quotes. These quotes from great orators such as Dubois, Garvey, Malcolm X, and MLK, JFK, have helped me through many situations. When my confidence dipped, I remembered Marcus Garvey saying “without confidence in self, you are twicw defeated in the race of life.”
I will attempt to share quotes with you on a regular basis. My hope is that they will provoke, inspire and challenge you as much as they did me.
Since National Heroes day is approaching in Jamaica, I think it is fitting to kick this off with a Garvey quote.
